Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar® is making historic strides this month as it welcomes new franchise owners Sonny Carvalho and Carla Dutro, Hawaiian locals with a deep connection to the islands. Carvalho, a Native Hawaiian, and Dutro, born and raised in Hawai’i, are set to take over the flagship location at Waikiki’s renowned International Market Place. This transfer marks a significant milestone for Uncle Sharkii, entrusting the legacy and authenticity of its first-ever Hawaii location to a team rooted in the Spirit of Aloha.

Sonny Carvalho, hailing from Hilo, Hawaii, brings a rich background in the military and real estate, while Carla Dutro boasts over 20 years of experience in the financing industry.
