Fen Reyes, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Uncle Sharkii®, hails from China. Growing up, she had a front row seat to rapid economic growth and commerce as China opened its borders. Fen’s family has never been a stranger to business. Throughout the decades, the family owned several businesses that spanned various industries, including a furniture factory, a cable line factory, and a family restaurant. Fen often found herself helping her father with the current business of the time. These immersive, hands-on experiences would be the foundation of Fen’s keen business sense.

As she grew, Fen continued to dive into her studies, choosing to learn English. The more she learned, the more of a robust curiosity for world exploration was sparked inside of her, eventually driving her to study abroad in the U.S. and learn a new culture. The future-CEO was eager to take a hold of the American Dream. Graduating from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Fen swiftly worked her way through the Financial Industry. She also worked as a Marketing Supervisor and later as a Marketing Director at a large National Financial firm.

Fen brings more than 10 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries to the table. By always working towards leaderships roles, Fen managed and supervised various restaurants and restaurant chains in both Southern California & Northern California. Gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience Fen was able to open and start her own restaurant.

These experiences have allowed Fen Reyes to become a revolutionary and a trendsetter in the industry. Not only with an incredibly strong business and finance background, but also with experiences in marketing directorship and restaurant management.

Eventually following in her father’s footsteps in business, Fen later founded and started each company she created ever since she began doing business full time. It’s this passion, wisdom, and fearlessness that has led Uncle Sharkii® into a largely untouched market in which it’s poised to be one of the most popular healthy fast-food trends of this generation!

Raymond Reyes was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii under a firmly held belief of Ohana. Meaning family, the word is an inherent belief to never leave family behind and that heritage is binding. Uncle Sharkii’s very backstory relates to this virtue and holds true to the authentic flavors and preparation style that Raymond grew up alongside. Raised by a career soldier, Raymond was taught to value hard work, integrity, and drive. These very values underscore the basis of the rapid growth of the Uncle Sharkii® name.

As Chief Operating Officer at Uncle Sharkii, Raymond Reyes is responsible for the global operations of the company. Raymond brings more than 12 years of International – Trade, Customs, and Federal Law Enforcement experience to Uncle Sharkii. From 2007 to 2020, Raymond served as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for a U.S Government Agency. He was responsible for enforcing both Federal & State statutes, while facilitating lawful International Trade, Customs and Travel. Over his extensive career he has affected much governmental oversight and poise. Working alongside various stakeholders and counterparts on a Federal, State, and Local levels. Raymond has been able to bring his experience and knowledge on how to effectively handle the stressors of dealing with these various moving parts.

Today, Raymond oversees all global operations for Uncle Sharkii®. He wields more than 12 years of international trade, customs, and federal law enforcement wisdom. It’s this wisdom that serves as the foundation for both national and global expansion strategy for Uncle Sharkii®. Thanks to Raymond’s extensive knowledge within transcending cultural lines, Uncle Sharkii® is poised to develop in various international target markets, including those in Asia, Southeast Asia, The Middle East, Europe, and The Americas. The systems that he has built are a driving force behind the explosive success of the brand! Raymond’s ability to strategize and effectively execute has carried Uncle Sharkii® through unprecedented pandemic times, ultimately setting Uncle Sharkii® on a course to be one of the top poke brands around the world.

Under his wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership in the global marketplace. Raymond has been able to effectively develop and deliver a business plan set on expanding its network and reach past the borders of the U.S and out to the rest of the world. Knowing the country and its people are half the battle when it comes to expansion overseas. However, the other half is knowing the customs and culture of the people you will partner with. Due in part to Raymond and his expertise in the global marketplace has given Uncle Sharkii the ability to negotiate and make deals for expansion in various locales around the globe. Uncle Sharkii is poised to develop in various target markets from: Asia, Southeast Asia, The Middle East, Europe, and The Americas, due in part to the amazing network driven system that Raymond has built.
